Burnout
Breathing gives you the oxygen you need to release your energy. Wrong breathing, mostly too quick and shallow, means your system is getting less oxygen than it needs
The oxygen is out of your system before it has been absorbed. We see this sort of thing when the body is very tired. Even sleep is not enough to overcome the tiredness. When you get up in the morning you notice it immediately. The reason you're so tired is because your body hasn't rested.
This sort of tiredness can feel even worse than the tiredness you felt the previous evening because you don't have enough adrenaline in your body to dull the tiredness. An hour and two cups of coffee later, you don't notice the tiredness so much because now you've got some energy back.
You have to keep throwing logs on the fire to keep the fire burning. But with this kind of tiredness it's as if the logs are impregnated with fuel and burn up instantaneously.
Between 12 and three o'clock in the afternoon, you're hit by sleepiness. And since taking a nap around this time is not very practical, you unwittingly invent some sort of substitute to take, like chocolate or some other sweet.
When this happens your body is crying out desperately for energy.
The chocolate bar you ate has the same effect as the log drenched with fuel you threw on the fire. It gives you a quick energy boost but it doesn't give you relief.
Once the effect of this energy shot has subsided, about four or five in the afternoon, you can move on to an alcoholic drink or some other sweet substance. Once you’re over this dip youl manage to get through the evening all right, but later you fall into a troubled sleep.
The body can take a lot, but after living like this for years, your body is exhausted. And any signals your body has been giving, you probably ignored because you had to keep going or wanted to. In the end you can’t be bothered working because you're so tired. You have less interest in sex and the socialising you used to enjoy more often than not becomes a burden. You'll also notice the difference in your concentration and your short-term memory both of which will be going downhill fast.
